Auto-Reboot After A Crash

When Windows crashes due to application, hardware or any other system fault or due to power failure, it will to automatically reboot. You might not want the system to go into auto-reboot mode while you are troubleshooting your PC. This Registry Hack will show you how to stop it. Just open Regedit(START>>RUN>>Type REGEDIT)

Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl

Change the value of AutoReboot to 0 to prevent an automatic reboot after a crash. Incase it is o and you want it to reboot change it to 1. You may have to restart the computer for the change/effect to take place. Back up your registry before you do it(click here)
